Be part of a very small group, as we take a fresh, power-packed look at the last line of defense for the armed citizen and professional alike - The PISTOL - for a HIGH-round count, 2-DAY On-Demand Pistolcraft course led by BEN MORGAN, a distinguished former member of the 75th Ranger Regiment and U.S. Army infantry officer who found his way to Iraq doing High-Threat contract work. Ben brings unparalleled expertise to enhance your handgun skills and tactical proficiency to a level you've never been.

We asked Ben to come all the way from Colorado to push you, and we promise he will.

Ben speaks a certain dialect of operational efficiency, and he not only knows what a great shooter looks like - he knows how to build them. He will make you into a better, faster, smarter shooter.

Course Content:

Day 1 (9AM-4PM): Fundamentals, Precision, & Efficiency (0900-1600)

• Morning Session:

o   Safety Briefing and Orientation: Review of range rules, safety protocols, and tactical pistol considerations.

o   Equipment Check: Assessment and optimization of personal gear for the modern world.

o   Fundamentals of Marksmanship vs. Stress: Grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control as the stress increases.

o   Shooting Drills: Progressive exercises to enhance accuracy and consistency.

• Afternoon Session:

o   Dynamic Shooting Techniques: Shooting on the move, engaging multiple targets and engaging targets that are moving.

o   Speed vs. Precision: Balancing accuracy with speed under stress.

o   Malfunction Clearances Under Stress: Effective techniques for resolving common handgun malfunctions.

Day 2 (9AM-3PM): Tactical Applications and Scenario Drills and Considerations

• Morning Session:

o   Tactical Reloads: Efficient reloading techniques under pressure.

o   Drawing from Concealment: Specific strategies for improving 1st-shot times from different carry positions, including seated and supine positions.

o   Single/Off/Injured-Hand Operation: Techniques for shooting with less-than-optimal grips.

• Afternoon Session:

o   Stress shoot: Time to put it all together and see who is the fastest without dropping the accuracy standard.

o   Course After-Action-Review & Q&A with Ben: Recap of key lessons and open discussion with the instructor.

Additional Information:

• Prerequisites: Participants must have a thorough understanding of handgun safety and operation, the basic tenets of gun-based tactics, and be able to draw and re-holster safely, as well as manage being up on their feet, MOVING, for 2 days without medical problems. This is not a physical fitness course, but you'll need to be somewhat fit to complete the demands of the course.
• Equipment Required: Reliable handgun, secure holster, 4 magazines, 750 Rounds of practice ammunition, eye/ear protection, appropriate clothing (including concealment garments if applicable).
• Recommended Gear: Knee pads, hat, sunscreen, hydration pack, note-taking materials, snacks, energy drinks, cleaning kit, bug spray.
• Certification: A certificate of completion will be awarded to participants who successfully demonstrate proficiency in course objectives.
