NRA Range Safety Officer Certification Course
Become a Nationally Recognized Certified NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO).
- Course Length: 9 hours
- Time: 9 AM to 6:30 PM
- Place: Range 360. Sign-in at Hunt’s Hardware & Guns at 205 E Main Street Miller, MO 65707. Please arrive by 0845.
The NRA Range Safety Officer Course consists of the RSO's roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and Range Safety Briefings which include procedures to follow in the case of an emergency.
Successful participants will become NRA Certified RSOs.
If you've ever thought about becoming a firearms instructor, this is a great first step.
You will take home a Student Packet and some other goodies upon completion of this course.
This is a requirement for Elite Range 360 Membership.
After finishing enrollment here, you must go to the link below and register with the NRA, but you will not need to pay them anything at this time.
