- Course Length: 16 hours (2 Days)
- Time: 9AM to 5PM Daily - Class will start PROMPTLY at 9AM.

Description:

The Emergency Medical Responder Course is designed for individuals who wish to greatly expand their knowledge and abilities in emergency pre-hospital care.

This course will make you start talking, thinking, and acting like a first responder.
-
This course will provide you with the same level of medical training as many firefighters and police officers.
-
You will learn medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
-
This course requires about 40 hours of coursework, via studying a textbook, prior to the 2 day in-person skills training.

You will receive hands-on training which includes, but is not limited to:

This course is a great way to level up and add more tools to your Ditch Medicine & CPR/First Aid tool kit.
Graduation from this course will earn you three 2-year certifications: Basic Life Support for Professional Rescuers, Emergency Oxygen Administration, and Emergency Medical Response for Non-EMS Personnel.
NOTE: While this program provides comparable training to that of an Emergency Medical Responder, the base-level training for EMS providers, this program is not intended to prepare individuals for national certification, licensure, or credentialing as an EMS provider.
